1. Elephant Cave is located in Gianyar regency. The cave is carved into a rock face and you enter through the cavernous mouth of a demon. Inside the T-shipped cave you can see fragmentary remains of linggams, the phallic symbols of the Hindu god Shiva, plus a statue of the elephant-headed god Ganesh.
2. Samuan Tiga offers unique architecture and a stunning view, flanked by two rivers, the Pande and Tegending, on the east side and the remains of an ancient pool on the west side, with sacred Banyan, Pule and Curiga trees growing around the site.
3. Gunung Kawi Temple This is one of Bali’s oldest, most charming and certainly largest ancient monuments. Gunung Kawi consists of 10 rock-cut candi ( shrines ),memorials cut out of the rock face in imitation of actual statues. They stand in 7 meters high sheltered niches cut into the sheer cliff face.
4. Kintamani has a wonderful view of Mount and Lake Batur.
5. Tirta Empul Temple is a purification temple.
6. Tegalalang has a spectacular view of roadside rice terrace. It is a woodcarving village specialize in brightly painted wooden birds, fish, fruit trees, topeng masks, antique style doors, furniture and wall panels.
